Kirigakure, Kiri or Village Hidden in the Mist (colloquially referred to as Mist), is the hidden village of Water country, where most of Team Uplift hailed from.
The current kage is Kurosawa Ren, which was previously Yagura.
Plot[]
In the beginning of the story, it tried to invade Noodle but ultimately failed, especially when a large group of ninja fled to a swamp in Fire country.
After the Cold Stone Killer incident, Mist sent a diplomat to Hot Spring, Kurosawa Ren, to smooth over tension as a result of the Cold Stone Killer incident and to make a deal, increasing the number of Mist-nins in the country.
Yagura was kidnapped during the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny by Akatsuki. Leaf wiped out much of the jonins who were present during the battle.
Shikigami considered their village the second strongest, after Village Hidden in the Leaves.
The world knew that Mist had a new Mizukage when Kurosawa Ren began her commencement speech for the chunin exam.[1]
Mist recently had earned the dubious distinction of having no Mist ninja made it to the finals in their own chunin exam, except an examinee who had gotten the slot through voluntary surrender of participants who could had been in the tournament.
Ren miraculously survived the Battle of Nagi Island, but unfortunately Mist still lost the vast majority of the ninja sent to the island. Yagura did not survive, allowing Mist to sidestep the thorny question of whether to put Yagura back on the throne.

- Yukizome’s Experimental Cuisine - A restaurant known for it notoriously bad experimental food. Its owner had decided to build a new restaurant and experiment with new food, and as a consequence, was disinherited from the family business, which was a different resturant. [2]
